Just a quick post, I finally updated the blog so that it's officially in the winter season and out of the fall layout. I like to do this because it's just nice and pleasing for me. Mina's still front and center because she's still wrecking my bias list. Anyway, I've been having some health issues. Nothing major (and I'm hoping it doesn't get major) however I have had to come back home for some tests. I'm not quitting school or anything but it is a stressful time for me so if I'm behind on reviews and other posts now you know why. I've been feeling better since going on iron supplements as I've been diagnosed with anemia and I hope this is all I have to go on. Other than that, expect some BTS and Taeyeon reviews soon enough.
Jimin is so fucking hot. You guys agree and one of to know if the "Jimin Fap" folder was real and to share it. It is. No I don't legit fap to it but the name is suiting. I can't post everything I have in there because that would take way too long not to mention embarrassing so here are some of my top choices.
The year was 2012, I was graduating from elementary school and becoming a freshman in high school. This was also the year I fully dove into K-pop. Before I mainly listened to Girls' Generation and SHINee, with a Big Bang and f(x) video here and there. But that all changed when "Gangnam Style" became popular and I decided to listen to many other groups, T-ara was one of those groups. Their Absolute First Album was actually one of the first K-pop albums I listened to from start to finished and loved it. T-ara soon became one of my favorite groups.
Then the bully scandal broke lose and things got confusing.
AOA isn't a group known for their b-sides, however being someone who listens to quite a lot of albums I've noticed that they do have quite a few golden ones. I'd even go out to say AOA have more than a handful of good b-sides, and "Angels' Knock" serves that notion.
I see they missed one of the most important rules in the K-Pop Handbook *ahem*: If one does not go anywhere then there is nothing to comeback from.
I shouldn't even be surprised since it's pretty normal for BTS to have 72 comebacks a year. Either way, I can always use extra Bangtan in my life-so I'm not complaining. I just hope they don't turn into the male T-ara and wind up break dancing with broken bones.
These are my favorite B-sides of 2016! In my past years in K-pop I've been able to listen to a good amount of albums and pick out my favorites from those albums. However 2016 was one of the busiest years for me ever, so I could only listen to a decent amount, the list is fairly limited (at least by my standards) but I still really do like all of these songs.
2016 was a good year for k-pop or should I say, certain groups kept K-pop afloat in 2016? Regardless this year was especially hard to make in terms of favorites. How I usually pick is making a list of favorites (max 30) then pick the essentials from that and knock off some more until I'm at 15. My essentials came at 23 so I just said fuck it and added two more that I thought was great. That said even songs that I still loved winded up not getting on here (Like NCTs "Fire Truck", CLC's "No Oh Oh", Sistar's "I Like That", ect..) so yeah that should tell you how hard this was to make. Anyways here are my favorites of 2016.
Fair warning, I don't believe in the "no double-dipping" rule. Some groups just had a better year than others.
